11/20/2013 Cindy Turkle called on 12NOV13 and stated that they were making good progress on the leachate system improvements, although there was some schedule slip because the contractor had difficulty obtaining the specified double wall piping. I asked when the project would be completed, and Ms. Turkle said she was confident it would be done by December 10, 2013, because the agreement with the contractor stipulates that substantial financial penalties will begin to accrue if the project is not complete by that date. Ms. Turkle also said the leachate system would be shut down for several days when then they were converting the above-ground system to the below-ground system. DAVID MILLER
