On the other analyte, if it’s not in the permit then you’ve done all the follow up monitoring required and results must have been satisfactory so they were able to take it out of the permit. From: Osceola Water Works [mailto:osceolawater2@windstream.net] Sent: Friday, September 20, 2013 3:28 PM To: Gastineau, Janet [DNR] Subject: Osceola Janet, On 9/6/12 we collected samples that exceeded the MCL for chlorite. We were placed on increased monitoring from once per quarter to once a month. Since a year has passed without a violation, can we go back on quarterly monitoring? 2nd question my old operating permit had me sampling for metolachlor every quarter. My new permit says that I’m no longer required to monitor for metolachlor on an annual basis. I would assume this means I do not have to test for metolachlor quarterly right? JANET GASTINEAU
