9/3/2013 From: Adams, Mike [mailto:Adams@dmww.com] Sent: Tuesday, September 03, 2013 1:16 PM To: Gastineau, Janet [DNR] Subject: RE: SWTP - 8/20/2013 Turb Spike Janet, the CFE turbidimeter trend is now set at 5.00 NTU’s. Short term, we are trying to rotate the high service pumps daily. The turbidity seems to spike higher the longer the pumps sit without running. Long term plan is to move the supply line for the turbidity meter to the clear well or suction side of the pumps. We would prefer it be set higher—like 5 NTU. Can you let us know your plan to ensure these type of events/need for explanation do not readily occur in the future? The turbidity spikes up about 9 minutes after a high service pump change. JANET GASTINEAU
