7/18/2013	Stu Schmitz from the Iowa Department of Public Health called to apprise me of his efforts relating to the health complaints from the landfill leachate odors. He indicated that he had spoken with complainant Robert Pingel and advised him that DNR’s duties generally do not overlap with his complaints. Mr. Schmitz encouraged Mr. Pingel to work with the Webster County Department of Public Health.	DAVID MILLER
