6/3/2013	Jeff called to discuss their permit and changes to their outfalls that took place last year. He wondered if the permit was still needed or if a storm water permit could be issued instead. I told him, based upon my inspection, I was under the impression that some process or facility water still has the potential to discharge to the pond. However if all process water is diverted and only exterior storm water is discharged to the pond, then it may be a possibility. I told him to contact Wendy Heib (NPDES permit writer) to get more info or clarification. He also asked if the grass in the inner berm was ok for stabilization and I told him that it was ok and that rock or low growing, shallow rooted vegetation is ok on inner berm of ww structures.
