4/15/2013	Gwen with Clinton County called today, as she'd received a call from a citizen that wanted to remove slate siding from their residential dwelling, and wanted to know the rules associated. I explained to Gwen that DNR/EPA regulations don't regulate residential projects if there's only one involved, however, if the homeowner hires a contractor, OSHA's regulations would likely kick in. She asked about general precautions that should be taken to protect oneself. I explained that although iam not a certified asbestos trainer, i mentioned precautions vary but keeping dust down using water, tarps to collect debris, a good respirator to protect your lungs.
