4/15/2009	Gordon Cose, Crawford County Landfill Manager called and inquired if the FO had received any complaints on an unpermitted appliance demanufacturer in Buck Grove, Iowa. I told him yes, we received 3 complaints and that it was investigated by Alison Manz of this office and an NOV was issed. Mr. Cose also inquired about county residents dropping off appliances, but picking them back up when they found out their was a charge for disposal. I told him we did not have any rules on that. Something like that would have to be addressed, internally, at the landfill as some sort of policy	ALLAN BERTELSEN
