8/22/2012	Debra Bradyhoff of USEPA called me regarding Central Disposal in Lake Mills. She was doing an “acceptability determination” of this facility (a CERCLA/SARA mechanism to ensure that disposal facilities do not discharge contaminants off the site) and wanted clarification of the leachate seep issues, for which she had a past notification. I stated that there was a leachate seep for which the facility received a Notice of Violation in 2010 and that issue had been effectively addressed. I also noted that the facility had self-reported some minor leachate seep issues during the summer of 2011 and those had been addressed. I stated that the landfill management was working collaboratively with DNR to maintain compliance and whenever issues arose they were responsive in getting them addressed. Ms. Bradyhoff asked if there were any pending enforcement actions or chronic compliance issues and I stated that there were none.	DAVID MILLER
