7/30/2012	There was a small fire at the Wright County Transfer Station on July 24, 2012, which caused some minor damage, but they switched over to the other bay and remained in operation. Jim Meade called at 7:00 AM this morning and stated that the second bay caught fire Saturday and caused significant damage, including the loss of some large equipment which completely burned. Mr. Meade will make arrangements to have the collection vehicles direct haul to the Landfill of North Iowa, and will get his engineer in to determine if the other bay, which only had smoke damage, would be safe to use. If the engineer declares the one bay safe, he believes that he can be operational by Friday. I will go down and survey the situation.	DAVID MILLER
