5/29/2012	Spoke to Greg by phone today regarding my visit on 5/10/12. He said that he owns the ground where the open burning was taking place, but stated that he was not involved in the burning. I told him he cannot allow open burning on property under his control and that he should clean up and properly dispose of the remaining materials in the burn pile. He said he owns the house at 2121 350th St. but was unaware of the status of the onsite system as he has not pumped or inspected it since he purchased the place. He also said he owns the west trailer home (2117), but that he sold the east one (2119) to Mr. Neri Rodriguez. However, he said that there was an onsite system installed when the first trailer was constructed (not permitted through the county sanitarian) and the second trailer was tied in to this system when it was built. He said Bill VanVeldhuizen was his plumber in Rock Valley who did the work, but when I contacted Bill, he stated that he did not do the initial work on this site (the guy who did is no longer in business) but had been contacted recently by Mr. Koenen to do some repairs. I instructed both men to work with Doug Julius, Sioux Co. Engineer and sanitarian to get proper systems installed for these homes.	SHEILA KENNY
