5/16/2012	Bill called to report that they had electrical problems with the Continuous Opacity Monitor (COM) yesterday, May 15th. The unit had a voltage fault. It had to be removed, repaired and reinstalled. It was out of service from 10:45 am until 4:30 pm. Bill said that there were no opacity problems either before or after the time that it was out of service. He said that the kiln operating parameters were normal during the COM down time. He did not think there had been any excess emissions. He just wanted us to know about the incident. He said he would follow up with a letter of explanation.	GLENN CARPER
