3/29/2012	A gentleman called to report that he saw a manure hose in the ditch along Riverside Drive, south of Dakota City. The hose was connected to a manure application tractor. He did not see any manure in the ditch, but he was concerned about why the hose was there. I called Erickson, since his facility is closest to the reported location. He stated that AID Enterprises was currently hauling manure from his lagoon with a drag hose. The application ground is included in the RSH Farms MMP. The application rate was updated by Maschhoffs to reflect his recent manure samples results. It did not appear that there was a problem with the manure application, but Erickson will take a look at the site soon. He will verify that everything is being done as planned, and he will call me if it is not. I confirmed that AID Enterprises is currently certified to haul manure by the DNR.
