9/22/2011	Mike had some questions about the blend ratio self monitoring requirement for the nitrate removal system in the permit. They are operating it not because they have to but in an effort to "exercise" the system at the Fleur plant. I told him that is operational information they need to retain for what percent flow is going through the nitrate removal system; it does not need to be reported on the MOR. They do not have equipment per se for nitrate removal at McMullen but he wondered if it applied at this WTP. They keep flow data on where source water is coming from when they blend the lake, wells, reservoir for nitrate control at this plant, which would suffice.	JANET GASTINEAU
