8/17/2011	Perry Smith of Riverdale, Iowa called regarding ALCOA. He mentioned that the ALCOA facility had problems with PCB oil contamination to the ground and that they had wells installed to monitor contamination at the site. He indicated that there was a bike trail proposed on the ALCOA land which purportedly was contaminated. He stated that the source of his information was former ALCOA employees. He was concerned that any development of a bike path on the property would result in contaminated runoff reaching his property. I referred him to the Contaminated Sites section and mentioned to him that if there were documented contamination at the property and groundwater monitoring wells installed then the Contaminated Sites section should be better able to assist him with finding the information he was seeking. I provided him with the general Contaminated Sites number as well as the numbers for Greg Fuhrman, Hylton Jackson, and Mel Pins.	JON RYK
