8/11/2011	Andy called to advise us that CORN LP is burning Marshalltown coal per the variance issued on 7/1/11 and signed by Bryan Bunton (supply of Wyoming coal was interrupted by the Missouri River flood). The coal they are burning is low in BTUs and high in sulfur. This has resulted in excess emissions of NOX and SO2. The variance requires monthly reports of excess emissions. They verified this with Bryan. They wanted to know if monthly EE reports were okay with me. If not, they could do daily reporting. I told them that monthly reports would be acceptable.	GLENN CARPER
