8/17/2011	8/16/2011 Brandon called again to talk about the site. They are concerned about the stormwater on site once it's constructed and the potential to pollute the lake. I referenced Loves and the other large truck stop in Urbandale that have NPDES permits for oil/water separators for runoff and stormwater that in part discharge to the sewer. He said the WWTP operator has been involved somewhat. They were meeting with the new o/o tonight to see a site plan.	JANET GASTINEAU

8/11/2011	The gas station on the corner near the casino is going to be remodeling to a pilot truck stop. The water board wanted me to check and see if there is anything we should be concerned about or need to do. I told Brandon no since it is already an existing UST site, but I would check on LUST status. I told him about the STWW permit program and encouraged them to keep an eye on their erosion control.
