6/15/2011 Bahr called to say that the Well #2 pump went down this morning and is being replaced by Northway Well Company. The plant is shut down. Water pressure is very low. Northway will chlorinate the well after the repair. The well will be flushed and returned to service by the next morning. Special samples will be taken of the well and the distribution system, and the samples will be repeated 24-hours later. Bahr has already posted a Public Notice using the DNR template. The Notice will remain in place until all samples are clean. The system is chlorinated. We discussed monitoring the chlorine level in the tower and distribution system.
