6/14/2011 Received a telephone call from Howard Peterson with People Service. Mid American Energy is shutting the power off to the entire area at Intersection #10 off of I-29 at 2:00 PM today. Sapp Brothers had already installed a berm around the treatment plant and the drinking water well, of which we confirmed during a visit last week. After the power is shut down, People Service will also wrap the well in plastic. I suspended all WS and WW monitoring requirements from this point forward. I advised Howard to contact us when the facility reopens for assistance. KEITH WILKEN
