4/4/2011	Discussed changes to the routing of their wastestreams/stormwater flow. Mr. Kistner indicated that the discharge point for Outfall 002 now only contains stormwater runoff and is permitted under a separate General Permit No. 1. The cooling water that previously was discharged through Outfall 002 now is routed to their lift station and is discharged with their other process wastewater via Outfall 003. I instructed Mr. Kistner to contact the permit writer in Des Moines and make a formal written request for a permit amendment to reflect these changes. The compliance schedule from their 2010 permit also required that the cooling water be re-routed and that they comply with their final limits for Outfall 003 by 2/7/11. Mr. Kistner reported that they switched the cooling water flow from Outfall 002 to Outfall 003 on 1/13/11 and have been in compliance with their permit limits for the past two months. Therefore, this compliance schedule has been completed satisfactorily.	SHEILA KENNY
