11/5/2010 Pat called with questions regarding the demolition of a single family dwelling on their property. I told him it was exempt from the asbestos regulations, and the demolition debris must be taken to the FMC landfill. Pat thought the house may contain lead paint and asked if the DNR required testing. I told him we did not, but the landfill might. I told him to call the landfill to be certain of specific disposal requirements. Pat asked if they had to notify us before demolition. I told him there are no notification requirements, but we would appreciate a call just in case we get some concerned calls regarding the project. Pat said he would call us before demolition.
