9/3/2010	Winnesheik County Landfill has been approached by Swiss Valley Farms about possibly taking in 25 tons of potentiall contaminated (salmonella) cheese. Not sure if this is huge blocks of cheese, small packages, or whatever. Wanted some advice on other potential disposal options rather than buring this material in the landfill. Would like to look at feeding this stuff to animals if they weren't susceptable to salmonella poisoning. I ultimately referred Bob to IDALS. Burial in landfill is acceptable. Other disposal methods... not so much.	DOUG HAWKER
