10/24/2025 Christian called and was asking about how to get rid of beef hides. He had been asked by a couple different local lockers that were trying to get rid of them. He said that the rendering service they were using was no longer accepting them. FMC landfill does not take animal carcasses so he was looking for a way to reroute them. He asked about whether or not the DNR had someone they knew of that could use them to make gloves. I told him I wasn't aware of any right off hand but would connect him with the Iowa Waste Exchange and see if they had any one looking for some. I emailed Sydney and she said they did have someone who would take them so I gave her Christians contact info so they could work together on that. MADELYNN AUSTIN
