On Thu, Oct 23, 2025 at 11:22?AM Elana Becker <elana.becker@bayer.com> wrote: Good Morning Brian, I called Thabit Hamoud this morning to ask if a notification was required to remove a piece of equipment from service at our waste treatment facility, and he told me to send the Field Office 6 and FYI informal email about it. Therefore, I am sending this email to inform you that Bayer is removing our three temporary DAFs from service at our site. The temporary DAFs were approved in a Wastewater Construction Permit signed by Thabit Hamoud in March 2024. We are removing them from service because we have installed a separate, permanent DAF (approved via Wastewater Construction Permit by Thabit Hamoud in May 2024) per the IDNR Nutrient Reduction requirement, and we no longer need the temporary DAFs in place. Please let me know if you need any additional information, or if you would prefer this information in a different way in the future or including someone else from the Field Office 6.
