9/15/2025	Microcystin Source Water External Inbox Casey, Nathan Sat, Sep 13, 5:42?PM (2 days ago) to me Janet, According to the DNR draft Microcystin rules, we’re supposed to notify you if we have detectable toxins in our source water. I was out of the office this last week, so this notice is late, but we’ve had detectable levels of cyanotoxins in the Raccoon on September 11 and 13. We’ve had detectable levels of microsystin in the Des Moines for several months. We’re using the Raccoon as concentrations are lower. We’ve been sampling finished with no detectable toxins.
