1/21/2025	Wendy Wittrock first noticed the surface application of manure on 1/11/25. While Wendy and I were out on a spill follow-up I verified that it was manure and that it was within 200 feet of a creek. After some research I was able to contact Troy Hansen (K&T Enterprises and K T & T Land) who confirmed that they applied the manure to their land and that it originated from Schechinger Farms. When I spoke to Abe Sandquist, he informed me that the manure was sold through a 200A license therefore we do not enforce separation distances. If a water quality violation occurs, then we would get involved. I called Troy back to let him know that he wouldn't be getting a notice of violation, but that it is still good practice to incorporate near the creek so water quality isn't impacted. The location where application occurred near the creek is NW 1/4, Section 26, T79N, R37W, Shelby County.	KAITLYNNE HENRIKSEN
