1/2/2025	Lady called to aske about large amount of dead hogs piled up at the site. She said she walks her dog by often and hasn't seen any rendering pick-up in a week. I explained it isn't uncommon for the rendering to only pick-up once a week and sites can have a large amount of dead hogs depending on current health issues. I said the Dept. of Ag handles dead animal complaints unless there is an obvious environmental concern. She asked about if it was safe to walk her dog near the site. I said generally she should keep her dog away from contacting dead animals but for other health concerns she should contact her vet. I forwarded the complaint to IDALS.	DANIEL WATTERSON
