10/11/2024 September NPDES sulfate sample was not recorded. Per Sheila Bly, note on DMR that sulfate was not recorded and add comment. First occurrence will not result in NOV. Anderson, Ann Attachments Oct 10, 2024, 4:09?PM (19 hours ago) to me Robert, Thank you for your assistance today. This incident not being considered an NOV since this was the first time this has occurred is appreciated. As discussed, there was confusion with the sampling. The August sample that was pulled on 8/27/24 was sampled for ammonia on 8/29/24 and sulfates on 9/11/24 as shown on the Chain of Custody. The sulfate sample result was 784 ppm which is well below Lakota’s limit of 1520 ppm. The September sample that was pulled on 9/5/2024 Chain of Custody for some reason only had ammonia testing listed and not sulfates. Therefore the sulfate test was not completed for the September sample and is currently past the 28 day hold period. Please let me know if you have any further questions and, as always, thank you for your support. Best regards, Ann Anderson HSE Manager Valero Renewables-Lakota 1660 428th St Lakota, IA 50451 P: 515-886-2615 [email protected] ROBERT QUINTERO
