9/24/2024	Email from Amber Wolf: 9/23/24, 6:21 PM: Call from Ethan Kroll, reporting a 200 gallon hog manure spill into a ditch and field from an overturned tank. Location was at 250th St. and Willow Ave., Ute. He said no intakes nearby, no waters affected. Manure had soaked in. I did not assign a spill number. Ethan's number is 712-269-4524 if you need to reach out. Certified manure applicator was Brian Klein, #25605. Follow-Up: Manure came from the outdoor lagoon. Manure came from the outdoor lagoon. Ethan stated that brakes failed on the tractor resulting in the tanker to overturn into the roadside ditch. However, there was an incline in the road/ditch and the hatch used to transfer manure was actually laying across the field, not in the ditch. Less than 200 gallons 'sloshed' out of the hatch onto the field. No manure entered the roadside ditch. There was no puddling in the field either and just brown grass/vegetation from the sloshing. They pumped the remaining manure out of the tanker before uprighting the equipment.	ALISON MANZ
