9/6/2024	Lori called to ask about soil excavaiton and leachate impact. I told her that visually impacted soil must be removed and landfilled. Not all the soil needs excavated, but the basin will eventually need cleaned out. About 12-15 loads have been excavated from the impacted area and landfilled. A county excavator is coming next week to excavate other impacted drainage areas. No discharge of leachate to the creek was observed, and I conveyed to her that the facility must ensure the creek is not imapcted. She will plan to send pictures and a summary email next week.
