11/16/2023	Pager call was received 11/13/23: Lance Schiele had a tanker of cattle manure spill 3000-4000 gallons onto the ground in a field and road ditch about 200 ft. West of 5376 400th St. SE, Iowa City. The spill occurred at about 6:15 PM. The CAFO facility number is 66328. Lance was using a skid steer and loader for cleanup. He said there were no waterways or tile lines impacted. I told him FO6 staff would call him in the morning (319-631-5812) I contacted Lance the following morning of 11/14/23. Lance indicated they had cleaned up the majority of the manure but would be back later in the afternoon to seed the area and finalize cleanup. He re iterated that no surface waters had been impacted. I visited the site later that afternoon and observed that the ditch and adjacent field area had been cleared of all manure and then seeded with rye. Cleanup was complete and no further action required.	BERT NOLL
