9/19/2023	Fire at Sivyer late on 9/18/23. They contacted us and a NRC report was isued. Unknown amount of materials/volume reached the Missippi River so no HSI issued at this time. See email below. NRC report attached. I contacted Iowa American Water at ~11:45 am and they were aware of the situation and had made the necessary adjustments. Mr. Braden indicated that they experienced a major structural fire around 9pm (09-18-2023). The fire started in the chlorine area near the core prep area, all of the 6 employees were able to evacuate the area immediately, but the fire spread to the center of the building and the fire department was able to extinguish the fire. The FD is still on scene conducting their investigation. No production will be occurring for at least a month, and possibly longer.
