9/11/2023	Gastineau, Janet <janet.gastineau@dnr.iowa.gov> 10:15?AM (0 minutes ago) to Osceola The Iowa DNR had a meeting this morning with the City (Ty and Donnie) and V&K for project initiation of the effluent discharge to the lake. I expressed disappointment that nobody from the water board was represented, especially since the primary motivation is to augment the lake water. Anyway, it was made clear to the city and V&K that the project needs to be coordinated concurrently between the Iowa DNR wastewater and water supply engineers and the consultants for both the wastewater treatment facility and the water supply. Ty mentioned the reservoir is still likely 10 years away and this project is intended to bridge that gap. Water Supply Engineering asked for some information on the lake levels and expected treated effluent flow to the lake, which Mark Seip said he could provide.	JANET GASTINEAU
