8/22/2023 0930 Hrs: I spoke with Kelly Sabin, HSE Specialist, regarding an issue they had with their reverse osmosis (RO) system. A valve failed which allowed RO treated water to fill the basin below cooling tower 2. Mr. Sabin wanted to know if they could discharge it to their stormwater pond or to their iron settling pond. Ultimately he was told he could go either way with it, but that their GP#1 requirements must be followed. Mr. Sabin stated that they tested the water and it was consistent with RO water in that there was nothing in it. An email was sent approving whichever route they choose to go. JACOB DONAGHY
