4/7/2023 3/22/2023 1305: Email assist to Elana Becker with respect to her question about backup power and the code citation. The email read as follows (including her original email): Elana, Here it is: To ensure continuous service when the primary power has been interrupted, a standby power supply shall be provided through a dedicated portable or in-place auxiliary power of adequate supply and connectivity. [Recommended Standards for Water Works 2.6, 3.2.1.3, and 6.6.6] This ends up being just a recommendation on the sanitary survey and the only reason I asked for clarification is that the last sanitary survey indicated there was two independent power sources (e.g. separate feeds from two different power suppliers or two different feeds from the same power supplier).
