8/2/2022	An anonymous caller reported that there is a pile of dead hogs at an AFO site located at 2307 250th St, Wesley. Some of the dead hogs have been there more than one week. I told the caller that as long as they are getting the dead hogs to a designated place the DNR has no further regulatory authority and gave them IDALS number to call for timeliness of disposal. I called the owner, Cody Dornbier, to verify the report. Cody said that there have been a few dead hogs in the pile for more than one week and he added another half dozen or so that went down during load out last Friday July 29. He has contacted Darling for pick up multiple times but no one has showed up. I encouraged him to keep trying to get them there and thanked him for the information.	DAN BRATRUD
