7/7/2022	On Friday July 1, 2022, Austin Banks, who replaced Wade Hamm as the new landfill Director of Operations, called to report a fire that broke out in the cell the previous day. The local fire dept and landfill staff managed to extinguish the fire within just over an hour, they lost tarps (used for cover) and believe the reason for the fire was a hot load of material mixed into a load of trash. Austin emailed me a photo of the fire, which I will attach in FO6's N drive, photo file, 2022-July-GRRWA Landfill fire.	KURT LEVETZOW
