6/9/2022	Sheila called to discuss Iowa's hazardous condition reporting. We reviewed a few possible situations. Their containment is earthen, so a spill inside the containment could still be reportable, if there is any chance that it could be a contamination concern to air, soil, or water, including groundwater. Perhaps most of the time, any spills of asphalt (which congeals quickly) in side the containment, might not be reportable when it is cleaned up and leaves no trace. I said that, if in doubt: report, but we agreed that their situations might typically not be reportable to the DNR.	SCOTT WILSON
