5/18/2022	During my last visit, Brett (operator) had commented on the beef and heads from TR Beef that are delivered. Sounds like the waste is being handled properly, but can be rancid/decomposed more than desired. I contacted Bill to discuss and he basically saind that there is no issue and they continue to woerk with each other to get it delivered and covered early.. As long as SEMCO is willing to accept the heads and beef, they shall be covered like normal waste or covered in an expedited fashion if the landfill chooses (which is what we recommend). Keeping the communication open or establishing a consistent delivery time/date is encouraged. Having that agreement in writing between both parties is recommended (sounds like verbal at this time). I commented that a notification before delivery will allow the landfill to create a pocket to fill the beef material so that it may be covered quickly and have minimal impact on the day's operation. This office does not have any issues with the current process. We know that TR Beef's incinerator can only handle so much and dead animals cannot be stockpiled for an extended period. It must continue to be operated as required and as efficiently as possible. I encouraged Bill/SEWCO to continue to work together on this process and let us know if there are any issues.	BRIAN LEE
