12/22/2021 Discussed outfall 02. This is the old outfall for the CCR pond. It has been replaced by outfall 10 which discharges to Mississippi. However, they wish to keep it in case of heavy rainfall (as an emergency).A permanent structure was installed to prevent discharge to this outfall. There is a location after the structure to observe the no discharge is occurring. The flow meter is after the structure. The line is old and infiltration is an issue. Due to the plant ceasing operations w/in the next year or so and the fact that the line runs under the road options for reporting were discussed. It was noted that a weekly verification that no discharge was occurring from the structure would be conducted. The infiltration flow would not be tested or reported as flow as it's storm water. This plan will be discussed with other staff and submitted for approval. AMBER SAUSER
