10/22/2021	Phone Call... 1) Manure cleaning and stockpiling. I let him know of our regulations. He was specifically worried about the location of the stockpile being too close to somebody's house. I advised there are no separation distances to residences. However, he plans to verify the distance to the residential well (must be at least 400 feet). 2) Josh has moved his cows to the field directly north of the pond with the use of an electric fence. DNR does not regulate pastures. However, we do regulate water quality. Chris stated the cattle are maintained there for such a long time that when it rains, all runoff of manure and urine drains directly into the pond. He would like somebody to meet with him to determine if WQ violations are occurring. 3) Did the DNR require any modifications to the manure controls? According to Chris, the runoff eventually flows south into the pond on the south side of the road.	ALISON MANZ
