8/13/2021 I-29 Hwy 2 Sid Llc (Sapp Brothers) WW Operator Eric Cherko called FO4 to ask if a construction permit was required to change their flow meter. I stated that it was my understanding that the new flow meter would be different than the old one and anything other than a like-for-like replacement would require a construction permit. I also indicated that, based on an email conversation with Emy Liu, there may be some confusion about the process. A work record request has been submitted. Based on the work record request, Emy was assigned as the project manager. The next step is to have a project initiation meeting. Then a construction permit application will need to be submitted. There seems to be some expectation that a construction permit would be issued based on the work record request, but that is not the case. Eric asked about the September 1, 2021 deadline for installing the flow meter. The suspense date was established after Wendy’s last inspection of the facility and has already been extended once but I said that, after I check with Wendy, it could probably be extended. DAN OLSON
