7/8/2021	Called to discuss the possibility of using the Essentia wells to help with the city's raw water supply. As we discussed, all of the sampling completed at Essentia found no real evidence that a release was leaving the site so the project was closed. Attached is a copy of their report. I also included a copy of the letter from Dan Cook, DNR Contaminated Sites Section. You'll notice in that letter that he asked for the wells to be plugged, but never received a response. What wells are you looking at and what will the city use them for? Cote's response: In one of our meetings with Essentia they mentioned that they had 4 wells that they could see about trying to get rehabilitated and push water to our system to increase our raw flow. They ran some pump tests and collected water samples to send to Keystone labs. I got the results of the water tests and found the wells high in several undesirables. At this moment we are not going to pursue using the wells. The wells are right next to our East Well field on the North side of their Lagoons.	ALISON MANZ
