5/19/2021	Interested in purchasing this site. However, is conserned with the closure of the large lagoon. Sent this email: 567 Iowa Administrative Code 65.2(8) requires that, “As soon as practical but not later than six months after the use of an animal feeding operation is discontinued, all manure shall be removed from the discontinued animal feeding operation and its manure control facilities and be land–applied.” However, keep in mind, as long as you are making progress and communicating the progress to us, we can work with you on the timeframe. After purchase of the site, you will need to either submit a MMP w/in 60 days or contact me with your plans for closure. Also, as we discussed, this site has quite the collection system lines (I believe Maschoffs have a map of these) and each building has shallow pits. The pits and lines will need to be completely flushed. The synthetic liner will need to be taken to a landfill. Also, if you convert the barns from shallow to deep and/or modify the manure controls in any way, you will need to go through the permit process.	ALISON MANZ
