3/16/2021	My response: We have a note in the AFO database: 4/20/17 - Facility submitted a letter w/ the MMP short form and fees verifying that one of the chicken confinement barns was made unsuitable to ever have chickens again by eliminating the water lines and capping the well. AU's changed to reflect one building (i.e. 44,000 head) Regarding the second chicken building: Typically if a water line is just capped then it can theoretically be used again. Usually the water lines are removed, electricity severed, feed bins and appurtenances removed, etc. Once this is completed then he can send a photo to us and we can change the animal units. 3/16/2021	Email from Megan: Steve Jennett called me today and said he no longer has chickens. One of his barns he has complete dismantled, removed water lines and equipment and there is a giant hole in the roof. The other barn he had a plumber cap the water lines outside of the barn. Is this enough to remove the chickens from his MMP? If not what else does he need to do?	ALISON MANZ
