12/1/2020 Gary called me this morning to give me a few updates: - motors for the screen are in so they hope to get them installed soon. - excavator is back so they hope to get the drains repaired and operational before winter. - they'll be accepting some ground wood (derecho landscape waste from CR) to add as bulking material. I asked Gary why they don't get their grinder operating and grind the pile of pallets they have onsite, he said their grinder motor is complex and extremely expensive to fix at this time. Gary said their onsite emphasis is to keep digging into the smoldering piles to get them incorporated into windrows. I asked if they can have all windrows in operation by July 2021 as he's previously indicated and he said he hopes to have this done well before July. KURT LEVETZOW
