8/20/2020	I called Richard to discuss my observations from my June 12, 2020 complaint investigation for storm water runoff at the landfill. I told him that the only real problem area I saw, being caused by the landfill, was in the southeast corner of the property. He continues to claim there are several runoff areas along the east fence line. I told him that Iowa DNR has taken action and is requiring the landfill to improve their STW controls. If they fail to do this they will be referred for further enforcement action. I also told him that it may help if he were to speak to the county supervisors or the landfill board of directors. Richard requested a meeting with me and/or other FO2 staff to walk the east fence line of the landfill so he could show someone what he is talking about. I told him that I would discuss that possibility with senior staff and my supervisor and get back to him. He thanked me for my time.	DAN BRATRUD
