7/8/2020	Mike emailed with questions regarding how to dispose of dirt and rock that had been contaminated with used oil. He stated a hose connection had leaked when the oil was being transferred from their AST to the recycling truck pumping out the oil. He estimated only a pint or quart of soil under the rock had likely been impacted. I explained the disposal options for PCS depending on the quantity of material involved. I asked what type of used oil it was and Mike responded only that it was used oil from their AST. I then had Daniel Watterson (DNR FO2) contact Mike to discuss the situation in case a spill report was needed. Mike then stated to Daniel that it was a "hypothetical" situation. Daniel pressed him on the matter and Mike stated a small event had occurred previously but he didn't know the details and wanted to know the correct procedure for future events should it be needed. Daniel provided Mike with information on spill reporting for future use as Mike was unaware of the requirements.	DAVID KNOLL
