9/27/2019	Gary called to inform me that his big front end loader got smashed up so it's been down for about a week but parts are ordered and are on the way ($22,000 worth). He also said they're working at trying to resolve the screening issue (from the complaints FO5 received about compost going out to farmers field that had plastic bags mixed in). He's also hoping this latest round of rain doesn't cause more problems with leachate. I informed him of the fire complaint i received from the county supervisor, and he said when that's occurred in the past they just "deal with it" (meaning they extinguish the fire by digging into the hot spot and mix it into the compost pile).....problem is, they cannot get to the area of the fire at this time.
