9/4/2019 Jake wanted to know if there were any exemptions to the 50 foot minimum separation distance to the property line for a composting structure. I told him that if he can provide the DNR with a waiver signed by the owner of the neighboring property we would allow him to build the composting structure closer than 50 feet to the property line. I also told him to make sure that he puts in the signed waiver how close to the property line the composting structure will actually be to make sure that the neighboring landowner completely understands how close it will be. Jake asked if we would provide him with a letter that says the DNR has approved the location of the composting structure. Once I receive the signed waiver I will send Jake a letter of approval for the composting structure. GRADY KRAGENBRING
