See email below that was forwarded to Keri: ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Lee, Brian <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Apr 16, 2019 at 9:23 AM Subject: Fwd: Endangered Species To: <[email protected]> Keri, Please reference the email below for a couple resources regarding endangered species assessment. Brian ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Mayne, Jean <[email protected]> Date: Mon, Apr 15, 2019 at 4:13 PM Subject: Re: Endangered Species To: Lee, Brian <[email protected]> Brian, Two ideas jump to mind: 1) The USFWS maintains a free system by which you can get information regarding what species might be in your project area: https://ecos.fws.gov/ipac/ This would give you the list of federally-listed species that might be in the county where you are working. 2) The DNR Conservation & Recreation section will do a review of your project area if asked-- [email protected] . They would need a clear map of your project area, the scope of your proposed work, and a description of what kind of habitat you are impacting (ag land, lawn, river crossings, etc.). They would be looking at state-listed endangered species, which is a larger list than the federal list and inclusive of all the federally listed species, as well as any sovereign lands/waters you might be impacting. I hope this helps! DNRlogo_black.jpg Jean Mayne, CPM | Environmental Specialist BRIAN LEE
